Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using AppSchool.ai ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. The App is intended for use by parents/guardians and their children ages 4-14 under parental supervision.

2. Account and Access

• You must be 18 years or older to create a parent account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Parent PIN
• You are responsible for your child's use of the App
• Child profiles are created and managed by the parent account holder

3. Subscriptions

• Free: Access to 2 subjects with practice questions. No AI tutor.
• Pro ($4.99/month or $39.99/year): Access to all subjects. No AI tutor.
• Premium ($9.99/month or $79.99/year): All subjects plus AI tutor powered by Claude.

Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. You can cancel at any time through your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy.

4. Educational Content

The App provides educational content aligned with Common Core State Standards for Mathematics and English Language Arts, grades K-8. While we strive for accuracy, the content is supplementary and should not replace school instruction.

5. AI Tutor

The AI Tutor (Premium feature) uses Anthropic's Claude to provide educational guidance. The AI tutor:

• Is designed to guide learning through questions, not give direct answers
• Is not a substitute for a human teacher or tutor
• May occasionally provide imperfect responses
• Should be used under parental supervision for young children

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any purpose other than personal educational use
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the App's content
• Use the AI tutor for non-educational purposes
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code in AppSchool.ai are owned by AppSchool.ai. The curriculum content is original and may not be reproduced without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

AppSchool.ai is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any educational outcomes, data loss, or damages arising from use of the App.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
